Aaron Bobis is a guitarist, song-writer, arranger and recording-artist based in Syracuse, NY. He holds a Bachelor of Music Performance Degree in Classical Guitar from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio under Stephen Aron. Additionally, he has studied jazz and classical guitar with Phil Flanagan, Rick Balestra, Bob Sneider, and James Piorkowski. He has performed in masterclasses with Łukasz Kuropaczewski, Lorenzo Micheli, Benjamin Verdery, Goran Ivanovic, Marcin Dylla, Ron McFarlane, Brian Head, Goran Krivokapic, and Marco Sartor among others. Specializing in classical guitar, his musical passions include flamenco, jazz, rock, metal, folk, pop and traditional music from around the world. These influences have been brought to bear on his work as an educator, as well as a songwriter and composer with his various projects of original music including People School and Holiday Parking.
