Jacob Bloom is a second year masters student at Syracuse University where he is receiving his degree in cello performance. He has performed with groups such as the Trans Siberian

Orchestra, the National Youth Choir of the Bahamas, and the Catskill Symphony Orchestra.

His philosophy is that one size does not fit all. He recognizes that each student will differ from the last one in terms of skill level, learning speed, and work ethic. His goal is to make a stress free, non intimidating environment where the student can feel comfortable and confident. It is these conditions in which students will show the most growth as musicians.
